LB 1164 - High Priority
Starting at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, February 5, the Judiciary Committee of the Nebraska Legislature will hear testimony on 7 bills, including LB 1164, which was proposed to "Change terminology related to disability in civil rights provisions."
The bill, proposed by Sen. Walz, is on Disability Rights Nebraska's list of "high priority" bills for this legislative session, and Public Policy Director, Brad Meurrens, will testify in support of LB 1164 at the hearing.
