LB 1062 - High Priority
Starting at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, February 19, the Judiciary Committee of the Nebraska Legislature will hear testimony on 5 bills, including LB 1062, which was proposed to "Allow the Department of Correctional Services to establish a predischarge reentry pilot program."
The bill, proposed by Sen. Lathrop, is on Disability Rights Nebraska's list of "high priority" bills for this legislative session, and Public Policy Director, Brad Meurrens, will testify in support of LB 1062 at the hearing.
