How To Help

Donations - Give to Lincoln

Disability Rights Nebraska Needs Your Support

Disability Rights Nebraska is at risk of losing its crucial federal funding, and we need your help to continue serving the Lincoln and Lancaster area.

Our organization provides essential services, including:

  • Lay Advocates: Assisting parents in planning Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with Lincoln Public Schools, ensuring students with disabilities get the supports they deserve.
  • Inclusive Education Advocacy: Fighting for equal access and accommodations for students with disabilities, helping them thrive in our local schools.
  • Facility Monitoring: Ensuring people with disabilities live in safe, supportive environments, including our work at the Lincoln Regional Center.
  • Supported Decision-Making Education: Teaching individuals and families how to make informed decisions that promote independence and self-empowerment.
  • Fighting Discrimination: Advocating for the rights of people with disabilities in housing and employment, ensuring everyone has a fair chance to succeed.

Without your generous contributions, we risk losing these vital services for our community. Together, we can help ensure that people with disabilities in Lincoln and Lancaster continue to receive the support they need to live fulfilling, independent lives.

Donation through May 1 - May 29 can be made through the Give to Lincoln page.
