Annual Public Meeting of the Board of Directors
This year, we're going west! The Disability Rights Nebraska Board of Directors is taking its annual Public Meeting on the road, to Kearney, Nebraska in order to hear from people in the central part of the state. Participants will have an opportunity to comment on the proposed plan for the upcoming year. The Board will also be listening to gain an understanding of what people with disabilities in out-state Nebraska are experiencing. American Sign Language interpreters will be available. For materials in large print or electronic versions, please call by June 3, 2016.
The Public Comment portion of the meeting will run from approximately 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Depending on the number of people from the public who would like to comment, participants may be limited to three minutes per person. We would also like to know: 1) your name, 2) where you are from, and, 3)if representing an organization, please state the name of the organization you are representing. You are also welcome to leave copies of any written comments with Board Secretary Julie Stahla, or Recording Secretary Sharon Ohmberger.
