From the Autism Family Network: Please join us at the April 2 Proclamation ceremony at the Nebraska State Capitol as April is proclaimed Autism Awareness Month in Nebraska. The ceremony will be held at the Warner Chamber which is on the 2nd floor of the Nebraska State Capitol in the Warner Chamber at 11:00a.m. Cathy Martinez will be speaking at the ceremony on behalf of all the autism groups. Cathy and Mike from the Autism Society of Nebraska will then accept copies of the proclamation after it's been signed.
Then also join us that evening from 7-9pm on the west side of the capitol building as the capitol turns blue in honor of World Autism Awareness Day. We will have an autism banner for you to sign in honor of someone with autism.
